For the most part, our creation of the pitch video involved gathering the key creatives and allowing them to speak about their involvement in the project and why it resonated with them. Of course, if the purpose of the pitch is to get funding (which in our case, was) then it was also important to convey what our project would bring to the table and why it would excite those we believe would be our main audience.
In our case, one key component was the desire to showcase elements of Asian (specifically Chinese culture) and for this, we not only shot the prologue (which would, in turn, add B roll to the pitch video) But also have some of the creatives speak in Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
